Midnight Rhythms

An LGBTQIA+ indie short film

In this conceptual, poetic narrative, a young gay man struggles with his sexual identity and spirals into the world of drunken facades and midnight afterthoughts, questioning who he is and if he's willing to take the risk to be his truest self where others can see.

About

From writer & director Quincy Woo, Midnight Rhythms is a film by and for the LGBTQIA+ community and aims to depict the personal struggles of a queer person on their journey towards coming out and living proudly. As filmmakers, we are working to foster an open, accepting, and affirming community of queer and BIPOC artists within the Oregon film community. Additionally, we want this story to connect with the local and greater LGBTQ+ community, speak to our common yet unique experiences, and open up a dialogue between ourselves as well as with our friends and families.
